MIRRORING BEAUTY

The photo series 'Mirroring Beauty' aims to put dementia in the spotlight, a disease that a growing number of elderly are confronted with. The people are portrayed in their daily context, during conversations with me. The result is a very rich and diverse series of images that express fragility, beauty, joy, sadness, hope and despair. The participating eldery did not pose, they revealed themselves the way they are, without reservation, true and pure.
